Who is Out There Protecting Us?

Writer's picture: Sheila ReavillSheila Reavill

Behind the scenes, without any media attention, there are super heroes battling it out in the courts with the FCC to get microwave exposure levels that won't harm us. The Environmental Health Trust and the Children's Defense Fund have been in court and are now arguing again to get the FCC to do it's job.

Why are they battling the Federal Communications Commission? Well, they were the ones who were handed the authority to establish radio frequency exposure guidelines in 1996. That power existed with the Environmental Protection Agency prior to this time. The EPA was about to unveil exposure guiedlines just before the act took effect. The Telecommunications Act of 1996 took the authority to regulate emissions away from the Environmenta Health Agency, and gave it to the FCC which has done nothing but realy on old science called the thermal effect. Basically, they say if radio frequency doesn't heat the skin, it can't hurt you. This has been proven false with thousands of studies.

This is why it is legal to sell devices that hurt people. The power to regulate radio frequency power levels was taken away from an agency that was prepared to do so, and gave it to an agency whose sole purpose is to hand out and sell radio band frequency. The FCC makes no claims that they care about health.

So the Environmental Health Trust and the Children's Defense Fund have been battling it out and were again in court last week. A verdict will be coming forth in six months. If you want to listen to the court proceedings, here is a link. After about 15 minutes of listening to the this you will understand why this is such a battle.

I needed to get this out before coninuing with the 5g series. It's important.
